STOP THE TRAFFIK

STOP THE TRAFFIK is a global movement working through individuals, communities and organisations to fight the global sale of people.

The organisation raises awareness of the modern-day slave trade, whose victims the UN says have been found in 124 countries.

With your help STOP THE TRAFFIK will continue to grow and reach those at risk as well as inspire people to become voices against trafficking.

STOP THE TRAFFIK have over 30 local volunteer groups spread throughout the UK that actively campaign, fundraise or create community awareness about trafficking. They also have thousands of individual activists who support our work in same way.

There are different awareness raising options for different groups, there is also a STOP THE TRAFFIK Manchester Society that can be joined here.

The society seeks to prevent trafficking by:

Raising awareness of the crime of human trafficking, to help people understand what trafficking is, how it affects them and what they can do about it.

Informing student consumers about how trafficking impacts the supply chains of businesses world-wide and to equip and empower them to change their buying habits, campaign for change.
